Extended Stay America Buffalo - Amherst

For the money, you can't beat this place. The throw-ins are meager, but so is the price. Would stay at again.

Very basic and spartan hotel. Generally clean. Some of cups were sticky to the shelf. Sink was blocked. Good to have a fridge. Staff was friendly.

We arrived at 11pm and there was no hotel staff at the desk. We needed to use a phone to call an after hours employee. We woke him up from sleeping, he appeared at the desk with messy hair and appearing as though we just woke him up. There was barely ever a staff at the front desk and it made me feel very insecure, any individual could just walk into this place with nobody seeing them, this is an incredible safety risk. ...read more

Although the coffee maker and TV remote did not work everything else was OK except for the staff which was excellent.

It stays what it rated as 2 star, but over all it is more than acceptable.

This was a great hotel for the price, especially if staying an extended amount of time. The staff were so friendly, available, and helpful. My nine year old told me she liked it better than the Holiday Inn we just stayed at in NC, because she absolutely loved having the kitchenette. ...read more
